Knowing the newest technologies in lighting, filtration, and pumps will drastically reduce your aquariums electrical usage. It’s also vital to purchase livestock that aren’t over-harvested, and corals that have been taken from renewable resources. This promotes the longevity of these organisms that you will come to know and love, and we would love to help take you through this process. You too, can be a FishGeek!

With that said, we understand that the ultimate deciding factor is often the price-tag. Calculating the cost of the initial infrastructure, maintenance, and day to day operation can be overwhelming. A lot of customers turn to big chain stores hoping to spend less on their aquarium supplies, fish, coral, and liverock. It is important to note that our fish and coral availability changes weekly, and we may not have the immediate selection that these stores offer.

So, why give us your business? We are a small locally operated business. You will always be in contact with a knowledgeable professional. We offer a variety of live rock (Fiji, Tonga, Caribbean, etc) in varying sizes, and regularly stock 400lbs of fully cured live rock in a system with pieces up to 20 years old to propagate beneficial macro life and bacteria. Our fish and corals are quarantined for a minimum of 6 weeks to ensure the health of your existing ecosystems. And, our prices are set competitively with other businesses in the area.

Made my own line of protein skimmers right here in Central Pennsylvania.. After 25 years of waiting for someone else to make a Protein skimmer that was everything I wanted I did it myself... Truly couldn't be any happier with the end result hear is a quick run down of the features and modifications .

1. Curved body design for efficiency and ease of maintenance.

2. 24v needle wheel pump controllable most reliable pumps on the market should be a easy replacement 15 or 20 years down the road

3. All nylon screws acrylic parts nothing left to chance thick heavy materials for long maintainable life .

4. Lowest water exit of any skimmer.. no micro bubbles and makes use of every square inch inside the body of the skimmer

5. Space saving design. International pump and adjustments compact bubble plate with no loss of power.

6. Easily mountable control panel with a easy access screws tab not stick on velcro or impossible to find holes

7. Quarter twist skimmer cup to make it easy to take of and on for a lifetime easy to clean materials + a center mounted rubber bubble spreader and built in auto drain.

8. Affordable price point for large top of the line skimmers. No point in making the world's best protein skimmer and the average reef keepers can't afford it..

9. Clear water and air intake so that at a glance will be able to tell if it needs maintenance + large diameter air inlet for long trouble free service

10. This is the big one. Thanks for reading all that this is the whole point in why I made the skimmer the ADJUSTMENT. 2 major controllable methods built in. 1. Rite at the low water exit point built in twist gate valve similar to most other skimmers just a much lower exit point.. 2. My preferred method open twist valve to the wide open point then the pipe is adjustable with a slide pipe adjustment spill over pipe with a low splash hight to keep salt creep down..

Crazy to think all of the fits in a traditional sump 600 gal skimmer actually fits in 20 gallon long fish tank and is completely operational with both methods ( really tight fit )

Mounting depth is just about anything you want to put it in .. 4 inch up to 14 inches

When using the 2nt adjustment water depths can change up to 3 inches and not change the adjustment..

Skimmer ships with a 10 inch black adjustment pipe that can and should be cut down to fit your sump

Didn't spend 1000s of dollars on packaging or instructions will be a YouTube video on Assembly and YouTube video on adjustment

*** Please note that in order to protect the quality of our koi we deal in a limited quantity. While they are regularly available, our stock fluctuates depending on the breeding cycles of our fish. Early spring is the best time to contact us to ensure that we can meet your needs.
